How NOT to clean the panels?
With tap water

Our company uses deionized water during work. "DI" water is free of salts and minerals, due to which spots, algae and corrosion form on the surface of the solar panels much later.
With a chemical
It is strongly not recommended to use chemicals to clean the solar panels. These chemicals can be corrosive, which can damage the anti-reflective coating, silicone seals and even the frame of the panels.

High pressure water
High pressure washers are not recommended for cleaning solar panels. The high-pressure washing can damage the special coating on the surface of the panels, thereby reducing performance and lifespan. They also carry the risk of injury, as excessive pressure can cause breakage or cracking, leading to replacement and additional costs.
